Ctrl

Ctrl is het eerste game gemaakt door Studio Bertin. Het doel is om een kubus zien te leiden door een parkour van geometrische obstacles. Het spel heeft vijf levels met verschillende werelden en regels. Het vraagt van de spelers enige motorische handigheid, ruimtelijk inzicht en geduld. Speel je alle levels succesvol dan win je een link naar de soundtrack!

Level 2 brengt je in een surrealistische mechanische wereld met o.a. roestige draaiende schijven.

Level 3 is een zwevende constructie. Dit is veruit het moeilijkste level.

Level 4 speelt zich af aan boord een ruimteschip.

A Comparision Between One Analogy And Another Analogy (2020)

This album has a snappy title but some extended and moderately minimal music. It is produced with two analog synthesizers and two Casio sk1 keyboards simultaneously. Little to no overdubbing or editing, which adds to a more vivacious experience. Fit for background, concentration, ambient, non-music. Listen hither or Buy it, it is only 12 cents per minute.

Sci-fi striptekenles

Robots, vliegende auto’s een hotel op de Maan? Hoe ziet de toekomst er uit? Onder begeleiding van beeldend kunstenaar Bertin van Vliet, verzinnen kinderen (6 tot 10 jaar) hun eigen toekomstbeeld en verbeelden die in de vorm van een stripverhaal.

Dit was voor het eerst georganiseerd in aug 2020 door Oddstream voor het Lindenberg Zomerfestival in Nijmegen.

Your Automatic Trainer

Your Automatic Trainer heb ik gemaakt tijdens de eerste twee maanden van de Corona lockdown. Een gekke tijd, waarin het dagelijks leven even stil leek te liggen. Ik heb me in deze periode me verdiept in 3D animatie en dat resulteerde in deze korte animatiefilm.

Mini (2010)

Johann Kauth asked me to make a tape for his Stenze Quo label. I was honored and immediately became inspired by the idea of releasing a cassette. I decided to make this album as analog as I could. I used only Casio keyboards and a different Casio for every song. In the end I also used two Yamahas and a Korg Minipops rhythmbox and some analog echo effects.
The tracks are mostly instrumental easy going pop miniatures with little or no abstractions or experimentation.
The tape was released and re-released in 2010 as a limited edition. The original silkscreen artwork (not on Bandcamp) and the print on the cassette are by Johann. download here
